The following cases were heard at Reading and Slough Magistrates’ Courts:

May 4
PHILIP SMITH, 34, of Sandstone Close, Wokingham, admitted to drink driving on Lower Earley Way in Reading on January 24, 2021. He was caught with 90 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml. He was banned from driving for 34 months, fined £200, ordered to pay court costs of £85 and made to pay a victim surcharge of £34. 

May 5
HILAL SAMI, 31, of Fennel Close, Ascot, admitted to driving under the influence of cocaine on Imperial Road in Windsor on August 22, 2020. He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £120, made to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and ordered to pay courts costs of £85. Sami also admitted to driving under the influence of cannabis on London Road in Camberley on September 8, 2020. For this offence, he was fined £120 and made to pay a victim surcharge.

May 6 
GAVIN BAXTER, 42, of Drummond Close, Bracknell, admitted to drink driving on Bullbrook Drive, Bracknell on December 24, 2020. He was caught with 120 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 35mcg per 100ml.
He also admitted to driving without a licence or insurance at the same time and location. 
Baxter was sentenced to 14 weeks in prison suspended for 18 months due to the severity of the offence. He was also banned from obtaining a driving licence for 30 months, made to pay a victim surcharge of £128 and ordered to pay costs of £85. 
SCOTT PATTEMORE, 35, of Azalea Close, Wokingham, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order on two occasions on February 2021. He was ordered to participate in up to five days of rehabilitation activities and pay costs of £75.
