A MUCH-LOVED pancake truck in Bracknell will not be open today due to the heatwave.

Al Crepes and Cafe in Savernake Park informed customers on their Facebook Page about the situation.

The 'constant high temperatures' has forced Adrian Arnautu and his wife Liliana to close the crepe van for the day.

Bracknell has seen temperatures hotter than Ibiza this week after the Met Office issued an 'extreme heat warning' earlier this week.

The county has reached highs of 32C with people being asked to take extra precautions and stay safe in the sun. 

He said: "Unfortunately due to the constant High Temperatures and the risk it poses to us and our equipment, we will not be at Savernake.

"We apologise to those of you that had plans, and we hope to see you the following day."

The pancake van will return on Thursday, July 22, when it gets cooler again.
