An ITALIAN restaurant will be swapping pizza's for pints on Sunday evening welcoming locals to watch the final of Euros 2020.

Giovanni Suppa, owner of The Boot in Park Road, Bracknell, said he's preparing the pub for fans to watch England take on Italy.

Originally from Italy, Giovanni has loyalties with England having lived here for more than 30 years.

Tables and seats inside his Italian pub have already been booked up by England fans.

Despite the two rival teams playing each other on Sunday, Giovanni said there will be no rifts inside his family-run boozer.

He said: "It's very exciting for me and it's a win-win either way as I am pleased for both teams. I've lived here for 30-plus years so I am loyal to England so it's hard to say who I will support.

"We have been celebrating so far and I bought a massive screen for inside, it's amazing to see people so happy. It's a family orientated pub and people will be there to have fun not have any rivalry on both sides, it will just stay as a joke."

Giovanni said he couldn't predict what the score will be as he thinks it will be a tough game for both England and Italy.

He said: "Let's hope it's a good game and we don't just defend the whole 90 minutes."
