It’s time to celebrate some very special people – Bracknell’s dads.

Whether it’s their dad jokes, or their ability to just know what needs to be done, they deserve a moment in the spotlight.

Over the past year, many of us have had to keep our distance or go some time without being able to see them.

Bracknell News wants to celebrate these special men in your life with a photo supplement ahead of Father’s Day next Sunday (June 20).

The day is to celebrate fathers and father figures – including stepdads, grandfathers, fathers-in-law, or anyone else who has been like a dad.

Simply send us a ‘selfie with dad’ at www.bracknellnews.co.uk/dadselfies or by clicking the button below, and tell us what makes him the best in your eyes.

You can also include a personal message to thank him for all that he does, to make his day.

The picture can be the last one you took together during the various lockdowns or a favourite picture from years gone by.

Bracknell News editor Andrew Colley said: “We want to see the best selfies of dads and their children, so if you want to feature in our supplement, then please get involved and send yours in.

“You might have a special story about your dad you want to share with us - we'd love to hear it.”

You can also email your selfies and messages to shruti.sheth@newsquest.co.uk.
