A MUM and toddler walking on the pavement in Bracknell claim they were nearly hit by an 'out of control car'.

The News was informed of the incident yesterday (May 18) by the mum's husband, who wishes not to be named.

He said his wife rang him after midday to say a car speeding round the bend on Popeswood Road nearly hit her and her child.

"As you can see the tyre marks are quite long and he took out the digital 'slow down' sign!"

The tyre marks in the picture above show how close the car was to hitting the mum and toddler.
