1. The four places where Lidl wants to open new stores in Bracknell

SUPERMARKET chain Lidl has revealed a list of locations where they hope to open across Bracknell, and four locations are wanted.

The German-owned retailer has rapidly expanded its number of branches in recent years, and the company shows no signs of slowing down in the coming months and years.

The supermarket giant says it plans to double its portfolio’ which already boasts more than 800 sites across the UK.

2. 'He will be sorely missed': Waitrose tribute to employee killed in underpass

 

Bracknell News:

 

A MAN fatally attacked in the Twin Bridges underpass has been 'sorely missed' by his colleagues at Waitrose in Bracknell. 

Friends and members of the public have continued to pay their respects to Agapito De Sousa, 34, who died on Sunday, April 25.

Waitrose and Partners have paid their respects to Agapito, who was an employee at the Bracknell headquarters.

3. Gangs of youths banned from this area as police issue 'dispersal order'

 

Bracknell News:

 

A CRACKDOWN on antisocial behaviour has been launched following reports of youngsters causing distress to residents.

More Thames Valley Police officers will be seen patrolling around Sandhurst today to prevent groups of youths from causing antisocial behaaviour. 

A Section 34 dispersal order has been issued and it is effective until 8.50pm tonight (Monday, May 3).

4. Thames Valley Police are selling designer steals on eBay again

THAMES Valley Police are back on eBay and are selling some designer steals.

The force closed their online shop when the country was put back into lockdown at the start of the year.

But when non-essential retailers were given the green light to reopen, TVP started listing all of their treasures for 99p.

5. Berkshire Japanese knotweed hotspots revealed

THE FIVE growth hotspots in Berkshire for the notorious invasive plant, Japanese Knotweed, have been revealed recently.

The plant, first introduced to the UK in the 1800s, is well known for its ability to push through concrete, driveways, patios, drains and even cavity walls of buildings, often causing considerable damage and lowering the value of homes known to be affected.
