THE season of summer fun is officially upon us and among that is an outdoor cinema launching locally.
Ascot Racecourse has been announced as one of the UK venues to host The Luna Cinema 'under the stars'.
Rocketman, Dirty Dancing, Pretty Woman, and Greatest Showman are the top films that will be showing locally.

Organisers Luna Cinema said it is part of more than 175 screenings across 50 locations in the UK - including Ascot Racecourse this summer.
The screenings in Ascot will be from July 15 through to July 18, and tickets go on sale today (May 7).
Film fans can pull up a blanket or opt for a seated ticket to enjoy the screening in the open air - allowing for safe social distancing.
There is also the option of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks from the onsite bar plus food options.

George Wood, founder of The Luna Cinema, said “There could hardly be a more anticipated summer than this 2021, post-lockdown, season; every outing we arrange is set to feel special and unique after so long away from the people and activities we love.
"After so many months spent watching films at home, we are delighted to be inviting the country to return to the big screen, with our brand of socially spacious, open air cinema experiences."
Tickets are available to buy from thelunacinema.com, and prices start from £15.50 including booking fees.
