YOU can never predict the British weather so pubs have been imaginative and prepared for outdoor dining as they open up.

Outdoor igloos, pods, and marquees have been seen in pub gardens and outside restaurants across Bracknell Forest, Ascot and Wokingham.

Here are four places in Bracknell that have igloo, pods, or marquees ready for you to grab a drink in or sit down for a meal in.

The Admiral Cunningham

Bracknell News:

​The Admiral Cunningham has a massive marquee style tent up in the garden to make sure guests are covered from the rain.

It has a large beer garden too so there's plenty of space if you're looking to go this weekend.

They also have a food menu with burgers, kebabs and tapas options.

Peacock Farm

Bracknell News:

This pub owned by Hall and Woodhouse has a marquee style covering outside and just before the third lockdown hit, they opened up an Apline style bar.

You can now book your outdoor table for up to six people in advance on our website.

Up to six people can visit and book a table, which will be in an outdoor setting with heaters under a tent.

The White Horse, Wokingham

Bracknell News:

This family-run pub in Wokingham had to close their beach huts down due to not allowing enough air inside.

However, there are still marquees which you can hide under from the rain. From May 17, the beach huts will open back up again for you to sit inside.

Stirrups Hotel, Ascot 

Bracknell News:

Stirrups Hotel in Ascot has reinvented fine dining by allowed bubbles of six to enjoy a meal in a safe environment inside a pod.

There is a buzzer system on the tables where a waiter will come and take orders, pick up food or bring the bill so there is no need to even leave the pod.

The pods are perfect to celebrate a special occasion, including a birthday or anniversary.
