LEADERS from Farley Hill Primary School, Reading, had a look at the near-complete new site in Arborfield this week.

The School's head teacher, business manager and chairman of governors attended a tour of the site, of which is now in its final stages and is expected to open by September 2021.

Emma Clarke, head teacher at Farley Hill Primary School said, “We feel so honoured to be moving Farley Hill Primary to the new site.

"The building we have seen so far is incredible and we are looking forward to continuing Farley Hill’s exciting learning journey.

"All of the children, parents, staff and Governors are very much looking forward to the many new adventures we will have at our new site.”

The new school site in Arborfield Green features a 3G sports pitch available for people outside of school hours.

Sal Thirlway, assistant director for learning and partnerships said: “I look forward to the opening of the new school building which will undoubtedly provide a fantastic education for hundreds of children in the years ahead.
