A former mansion gifted from The Queen to Prince Andrew sparked interest from Netflix crews for their popular series Bridgerton.

Back in December 2020, a planning application had been submitted to turn the space into a film set which would resemble a London square and which would be used for up to eight weeks a year for the next five years.

Over 40 per cent of the people living in Bracknell Forest have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.

The latest figures show 54,876 people in Bracknell Forest had received a jab by April 11 and 14,270 of them are under the age of 50.

That means around 45 per cent of the population has been vaccinated, as there are 122,549 people living in Bracknell Forest, according to the latest Office for National Statistics (ONS) estimate.

A total of 10 council employees across Berkshire took home £100,000 or more last year, it has been revealed.

Bracknell Forest Council was found to have the most employees receiving remuneration in excess of £100,000 in the county.

The figures, published in the TaxPayers’ Alliance’s 14th Town Hall Rich List, analysed data from councils across the country.
