If you live in Bracknell and your bucket list is to drive around in a shiny Ferrari or McLaren then this is how much you'll need to save.

A new Dream Car Calculator has worked out how long workers in the borough will have to save in order to purchase their dream car.

The online tool from Dyler surveyed a number of residents across the UK to work out what their wishlist is, revealing some interesting data.

Figures show workers in Bracknell need to save more than £10,000 a year to afford their dream car.

The average employee in Bracknell is able to save £7,720 a year.

Data also shows people in Bracknell would need to work 79 years to buy their dream car outright.

If you want to buy an electric car outright, you would need to work for 29 year.

Taking your location, job industry, salary and disposable income into account, the calculator works out just how long it’ll take for you to save enough funds to drive away in your dream car.

If you want to by a Porsche Panamera Turbo S and work in the accountancy sector, then you would have to save for a total of 21 years (based on the £32,598 median salary for people working in accountancy occupations in Bracknell).

Workers in the sales sector with a McLaren as their dream car would have to save for 31 years to be able to afford a £158,995 car.
