RESIDENTS in Bracknell now have access to coronavirus testing kits they can use at home.

Staff and pupils at Bracknell schools will be provided with twice weekly test kits by schools and colleges, however residents outside of this are now able to access test-at-home kits from a number of places.

Collection points for these test-at-home kits include Sandhurst Memorial Hall, Sandhurst, Great Hollands Pavilion, Bracknell, Brownlow Hall, Warfield, The Morgan Centre, Crowthorne, New Priestwood Community Centre, Bracknell, and One Lexicon, Bracknell (opening March 30).

A spokesman for the Bracknell Forest Council said: "One in three individuals carry COVID-19 with no symptoms at all and without realising it.

"Rapid asymptomatic testing is important in breaking the chain of transmission.

"From Monday 29 March the rapid test centres in Bracknell Forest will be offering a community collect service for home kits alongside the current rapid test service."

The council are urging residents to take regular testing, especially those who regularly leave home for work, volunteering, caring responsibilities, essential shopping, exercise, or any other permitted reason for travel.
