IT'S safe to say we have all missed a trip our locals for a drink or food with friends.

Berkshire boasts an abundance of traditional and historic pubs - many with fascinating pasts, and locals have missed them this last year.

We are still in lockdown for now, and it will be a while before we can be back at our favourite boozers, but Boris Johnson is set to announce plans later today for a "roadmap" to end lockdown, which is expected to include dates for the return of outdoor drinking.

With this in mind, we have rounded up a few of Berkshire's best pubs - as rated by locals across the county.
