WHETHER it’s tucking into an authentic takeaway, or creamy curries are a long-standing family favourite, Indian food is one of the UK’s most-loved cuisines.
The UK has adopted curry as a “national dish”, with more than 9,000 Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi restaurants and the creation of British-Asian dishes such as chicken tikka masala and Balti.
So, because Indian food is the most popular, we have scoured Tripadvisor to find out which Indian takeaways make the best curry in Bracknell.

Shahi Restaurant
Don't just a book by its cover is what many people think when they look at this restaurant/takeaway.
Despite its appearance, the food is "delicious" with one review saying: "I've been going to this restaurant for 10 years and they have never disappointed me or my family. I ordered today for valentine's and again received excellent service + 20%. Let's support this great business."
Another echoed this and said: "We have been using the Shahi Restaurant for around 20 years and it has always been excellent."
Spice Lounge Restaurant
This lovely little Indian restaurant tucked on the corner of Forest Road has 4 stars on Tripadvisor.
Residents say they offer a great takeaway curry during lockdown with one reviewer saying: "We have lived in the Wokingham/Bracknell area for 5 years and have never been overwhelmed with the Currys we have had.
"Spice lounge is our new local and we love it."
The food is described as 'hot, fresh and delicious'.
Daruchini Brasserie
This restaurant in Binfield has excellent reviews on Tripadvisor for its takeaway curries.
If you love spicy curries then order the lamb vindaloo because one person said 'it was fantastic with lots of meat and a really tasty sauce."
The review said: "I have ordered my takeaway curry from Shahi for years but I thought I would try somewhere different for a change and I’m glad I did. The whole experience was great from taking the order over the phone to the quick delivery."
Peppermills Indian Takeaway
Formerly known as Mango, Peppermills serves street-food style takeaway as well as traditional Indian dishes.
It has a five-star rating on Tripadvisor for its delicious food.
The takeaway on Fernbank Road even won National Takeaway of the Year award at the 2019 Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards (ARTA) in October 2019 - so take frfom that what you will!
