ENGLAND is currently in its third lockdown which means various restrictions are in place.

Non essential shops have closed and people are only able to leave their house for essential activities such as buying groceries or providing care to another person.

We asked our readers in Reading and Bracknell what they are looking forward to the most when lockdown lifts.

Being able to reunite with family members and friends was something many of our readers said they were looking forward to.

Liz Leftwich said she was looking forward to "being able to hug my mum and take her out somewhere nice".

Similarly Carol Thomas said: "Being able to hug my wonderful family."

Maggie Ramsden also said "being able to hug my family and friends but just to hold my great grandchildren after all this time".

Another reader said they are looking forward to being able to travel.

Steve Harcourt said he is looking forward to live music gigs and visiting restaurants.

Many weddings have been cancelled over the past year and one reader said they are looking forward to getting married.
