Data published on the government’s website shows the number of patients admitted daily, the total number of coronavirus patients receiving treatment and the number of patients on ventilation at Frimley Health’s sites.

The local NHS Trust — which runs Heatherwood hospital in Ascot, Frimley Park hospital near Camberley and Wexham Park hospital in Slough — has seen admission rates fluctuate since the turn of the year.

Latest available data indicates the Trust admitted 48 people to its hospitals on Sunday, January 10.

This is two people every hour.

This took the total number of people admitted to Frimley sites up to 3,164 since March 2020.

Currently, there are 609 patients in Frimley hospitals being treated for coronavirus.

Of these 609, 39 patients are on ventilation.

Head west, and it appears there are fewer people being treated for coronavirus at some of the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust’s hospitals.

This Trust, which runs Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, Townlands Memorial Hospital in Henley and West Berks Community Hospital in Thatcham, saw just 21 people admitted on Sunday, January 10.
