Businesses across the borough which were significantly affected by lockdown restrictions over the past month will get grant support from the council.
Regular fixed costs that continued during the almost month-long shutdown will be compensated as part of the scheme, which has been set up to help companies that have either had to close down completely or have been greatly affected.

Businesses can apply for the period covering from November 5 to December 2, with further consideration given in January as to what local scheme might be introduced to support firms through the new tier restrictions.
Councillor Peter Heydon, finance chief at Bracknell Forest Council, said: “We have worked hard to get this grant in place as soon as the government confirmed the guidelines.

“We know that the COVID-19 pandemic has hit some local business hard and we are keen to support wherever we can.
“We urge local business to check online to see if they can apply for this funding.”
