A number of cars have reportedly been smashed in by vandals in Bracknell.

Social media reports circulated on Saturday night (November 21) showing multiple posts of people's cars being targeted.

It appears a group of vandals were walking around areas in Bracknell smashing car windows in attempt to break into them.

This included a car window being broken in Viking and a number of car windows smashed in Ashbourne, Great Holland’s.

One concerned resident said: "This is the second one I’ve seen tonight so bad don’t understand the hassle to sort that out hope they get caught." Another woman added "Seen a few posts now Great Holland’s and Birch Hill surely police are out now after so many being done in such a short time."

The Thames Valley Police neighbourhood unit team were patrolling the streets in Viking last night but it is unclear if this is to do with the car break-ins.

The force has been contacted for further information.
