A worried mum feels she is putting her and her baby at risk due to Deliveroo drivers parking on the pavement.

Felicity Paterson from Bracknell claims the takeaway drivers are repeatedly parking on the public footpath outside KFC on Bagshot Road.

As a result, the mum is forced to walk onto the slip road of the dual carriageway with her pushchair and risk "getting hit or killed".

She said: "Delivery drivers are constantly parking on the public footpath outside KFC on the Bagshot Road in Bracknell.

"This is an ongoing issue to which KFC and Deliveroo have all been notified, yet no-one seems to care."

Ms Paterson claims the situation has gotten worst since KFC reopened after the first coronavirus lockdown on May 8.

The resident insists Deliveroo drivers will cause someone to get killed because they are blocking the pavement.

She added: "We had our first baby in lockdown and towards the end of the first lockdown when KFC reopened the drivers parking like this meant I couldn't get through with my pushchair, therefore being forced onto the slip road of the duel carriageway.

"We have spoken to many people since and they experience the same issue, one of our neighbours was nearly hit by a vehicle when walking their newborn due to this issue.

"People on mobility scooters wouldn't be able to get through either. Is it going to take some getting hit or killed for something to be done? I am aware we are not the only ones to complain."

Claims have also been made that the drivers don't use the KFC car park as they "aren't there for long".

A Deliveroo spokesman said: “Deliveroo takes rider conduct and public safety extremely seriously. We have taken immediate steps to address this incident."
