BRACKNELL takeaway fans making the most of deliveroo dishes in lockdown can't get enough of Wagamama's Katsu apparently.

The food delivery service Deliveroo has delved into the statistics behind its offering in the town.

It comes as the service celebrates being in business in the town for the past year.

Top of the list for most popular dish in Bracknell was the Chicken Katsu Curry from Wagamama.

Ordering statistics also showed that Friday night at 7.21pm is the most popular time for Bracknell residents to sit down and get choosing. (So you know when to get your orders in before now!)

The top five popular takeaways in the town, according to Deliveroo, in order are:

  • Chicken Katsu Curry from Wagamama
  • Boneless Banquet Box Meal from KFC
  • GBK Cheddar Cheese & Bacon from Gourmet Burger Kitchen
  • Salt and Pepper Squid from Giggling Squid
  • Chick 'n' Rice from Pepe's Piri Piri

The firm said there are 80 restaurants now signed up to Deliveroo in the town, as it celebrates its first anniversary locally. It also said it has created work for 290 people in the area.

Deliveroo regional director for the UK Harison Foster said: “Our whole team here at Deliveroo are delighted that our rapid growth in Bracknell over the past year means that customers have more choice, restaurants are able to increase their revenue, and riders have the opportunity to choose well-paid, flexible work."
