Data from the Indices of Deprivation 2019 shows the town centre among the most deprived with limited access to housing and services as well as poor health.

The five most deprived areas in Bracknell were located in Crowthorne, Bracknell Town, Wildridings and Easthampstead, Amen Corner, according to the figures, with the most deprived area located to the west of town in Wokingham Road, Priestwood Avenue and the B3348 including Foresters Way, Kings Ride, Napier Road and Crowthorne Road North.

However, the study made good reading for people living in Sandhurst in Appletree Way, Oak Avenue, Acacia Avenue and Tottenham Walk where figures show the chance of being a victim of crime is very low, services can be accessed with relative ease and employment rates and high wages are amongst some of the greatest in the borough.
