Slough's Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is taking its annual Peace Symposium online this year - with a virtual event to be held via Zoom.
The Symposium is happening on Saturday, October 24 at 5pm and is open to all through a simple registration process. The theme is Justice and Peace.
Atiq Ahmad Bhatti, President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Slough, said: “I’m thrilled to be able to announce our upcoming 14th annual Peace Symposium, which is now very much a calendar event for Slough town. With the current coronavirus pandemic and Government guidelines, we decided rather than miss this year we would take the event online and make it virtual. We look forward to welcoming the many dignitaries, faith leaders and community representatives to this year’s Virtual Symposium.”
