The bake sale took place on Friday September 25 as part of Macmillan's Coffee Morning, where people can hold a bake sale to raise money for the charity.

Proud mum Claire wanted to shine a line on her daughter's 'amazing achievement'.

She said: "She’s baked well over 400 cakes and cookies herself from finishing school on Friday right through to Saturday afternoon which she sold in boxes over the last two days to donate all monies to Macmillan Cancer Support.

"She has raised an impressive £510 in just 2 days which we donated this evening."

People all over the UK host their own Coffee Mornings and donations on the day are made to Macmillan.

In 2019, the organisation raised an incredible £27.5m and are aiming to top that this year.
