April Dobson said: “I was delighted to join our MD and Operations Director recently to recognise the achievement of the team at Alexandra Grange.

"Achieving the Hallmark Care Homes’ ORCHID award for excellence in dementia care demonstrates how hard they have worked to implement the very high standards that were set in our Dementia Strategy.

"The team have worked together to not only achieve this accolade, but to embed the practices that we know make a difference to the individual lives of people living with dementia.

"They are all deserving of our congratulations and our respect!”

The plaque was awarded to care home staff for successfully achieving their Together Dementia Strategy, a three-year project aiming to identify and improve ways of living for residents with dementia across all Hallmark Care Home sites.
