MANY residents have undergone DIY haircuts during lockdown, with varying degrees of success.
However, now barber shops are once again open, many people are deciding it's probably best to leave men's hair cutting to the professionals.

1. Classic Barbers, Newbury - 4/5
This barber shop, based on Northbrook Street, Newbury, left good impressions on these customers - one Google reviewer simply described this shop as the "best cut in Town", and another detailed: "Had 3-4 haircuts here - always great!"
2. Reading Barbers, Reading - 4.6/5
This shop, on Cross Street, central Reading, left one google reviewer happy with their service, saying: "One of the best barbers I've been to, always delivering incredibly fresh haircuts.
"Previously found it difficult to find somewhere for Afro hair, but these guys are more than expertised and always deliver.
"The business is run with a high sense of professionalism, they never forget your place in the cue and prices are incredibly reasonable.
"Would definitely recommend this place to anybody wanting a high quality haircut and good service."

This barber shop, which can be found on Denmark Street, Wokingham, has scored a full five out of five with reviewers on Google.
One review read: "Everytime I get my hair cut Mario always amazes me with what he can do!
"I wanted a new hair style to go with and Mario with his experience and quick thinking gave me the best hair cut.
"10/10 for everything, service, time, price and friendly as well"
4. Boston Unisex Barbers, Winnersh
This barber shop on Reading Road, Winnersh, offers services for both men and women, and have positive reviews from customers of both. One Google review read: "I've been going to Bostons Barbers for several years now.
"The staff are always super friendly and I always receive a warm welcome from the team.
"I have my hair cut and beard trimmed by Sammy, who does a consistently amazing job.
"Her attention to detail, styling advice and skill as a barber has kept me a loyal customer for years.

5. Bracknell Town Barber, Bracknell
This barbers on High Street, Bracknell, was commended for it's "child-friendly" services.
A comment, left on Google reviews, said: "Amazing place for hair cuts and super child-friendly.
"My son was always scared of getting his hair cut bit since going here he loves it.
"They make him at ease and always gets a lollipop after for being good. Also very reasonable prices."
