THE following cases appeared at Reading Magistrates' Court.

 

September 2:

 

GAVIN MACKIE, 29, of Severn Way, Tilehurst, admitted failing to provide breath specimen for analysis when asked by police in Reading on June 27. Fined £350. Also ordered to pay £35 victim surcharge, and £85 court costs. Also disqualified from driving for 16 months. 

 

OLIVER MACE, 21, of Westwood Road, Newbury, admitted failing to surrender to custody at Reading Magistrates Court on January 2. Discharged conditionally for 3 months. Also ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge.

September 3:

 

EIMEAR COFFEY, 27, of Westwood Road, Tilehurst, admitted drink driving on Sidmouth Street, Reading, on May 23. Found to have 85mcg alcohol per 100ml breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35mcg. Fined £120. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Also disqualified from driving for 20 months. 

NICHOLAS PERRETT, 30, of Nire Road, Caversham, admitted drink driving on The Meadway, Reading, on June 13. Found to have 61mcg alcohol per 100ml breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35mcg. Fined £575. Also ordered to pay £58 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Also disqualified from driving for 17 months. 

LUKE BROWN, 19, of Grange Avenue, Lower Earley, admitted criminal damage to flower pots and a garage door in Burghfield on May 12. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge, and £85 court costs.

 

September 4:

 

RACHAEL CLARK, 28, of Willow Street, Reading, admitted interfering with a vehicle with the intention to steal anything within/part of/a car on Hemdean Road, Caversham, on June 29. Also admitted interfering with a vehicle with the intention to steal anything within/part of/a car on Tilehurst Road, Reading, on June 2. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Reading Magistrates Court on September 3. Also admitted interfering with a vehicle with the intention to steal anything within/part of/a car in Reading on July 16.  Community order made, including electronic curfew monitoring for 6 weeks. Also ordered to pay £95 victim surcharge.

PIOTR KUZMA, 35, of Brocas Road, Burghfield, admitted possession of amphetamine in Reading on October 29, 2019. Also admitted possession of cannabis in Reading on October 29, 2019. Fined £300 total. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge, and £85 court costs. Cannabis and Amphetamine to be forfeited and destroyed.  

IZMIR SHEHI, 20, of Wokingham Road, Reading, admitted possession of cannabis in Bracknell on May 18, 2019. Fined £100. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. 

PAUL COLLIER, 37, of Churchward Walk, Calcot, admitted assault by beating in Calcot on December 20, 2019. Community order made, including drug rehabilitation requirement and rehabilitation activity requirement. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

September 5:

 

CARL GILKES, 37, of no fixed address, admitted entered burglary and theft in Reading on September 4. Entered a Samsung store in Broad Street Mall, Reading, as a trespasser and stole mobile phones. Also convicted of original offences for which a suspended sentence order was made on June 25, namely interfering with a vehicle with the intention to steal anything within/part of/a car in Wokingham on June 22, interfering with a vehicle with the intention to steal anything within/part of/a car in Wokingham on June 22, and interfering with a vehicle with the intention to steal anything within/part of/a car in Wokingham on June 22. Also convicted of original offences for which a suspended sentence order was made on June 8, namely stealing a tin of sweets and Costa coffee pods in Reading on June 7. Imprisoned for 20 weeks total. Also ordered to pay £120 victim surcharge. Also given sentence of 8 weeks imprisonment suspended for 12 months.

 

September 7:

 

CARL DAVIES, 27, of Trowes Lane, Swallowfield, admitted trespassing in search or pursuit of game, woodcocks, snipes or conies in Peterborough, Cambridge, on December 6, 2019.Fined £150. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge, and £105 court costs. 

SIMON OWUSU, 37, of Woodmans Close, Reading, admitted drunk and disorderly behaviour in a public place in Flexistay Reading West Aparthotel, Bath Road, Reading, on April 24. Also admitted possession of cannabis in Reading on April 24. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £22 victim surcharge, and £85 court costs. Cannabis to be forfeited and destroyed.
