The town's much-loved water park has introduced a half price discount scheme this month.

Families will be able to have a splash and enjoy Coral Reef Waterworld in Bracknell with 50 per cent off on Wednesdays and Thursdays on peak sessions from 3.30pm until 8.45pm.

Dubbed as 'Splash out to Help out', the offer means a family of four can enjoy the facilities for only £23.

Craig Flippance, duty manager at Coral Reef Waterworld, said: “After a successful reopening at Coral Reef, we’ve decided to thank our customers for their support with an exciting ‘splash out to help out’ half price offer.

“All of our peak sessions are half price on Wednesdays and Thursdays in September, which means a family ticket is only £23! Our sessions are proving very popular, so we encourage anyone wanting to come along, to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

“We are aware of the latest Government announcement on social gatherings and at present none of these changes affect the operation of our leisure facilities, including Coral Reef. We will of course keep customers updated via our website and Facebook page.”

To keep visitors safe, a variety of measures have been in place at the waterpark in line with Government guidance, including reducing the number of visitors to a third of its usual capacity, via an online booking system.

In addition, a one-way system is in place throughout the facility and lifeguards are ensuring visitors adhere to social distancing measures. Full details on Everyone Active’s reopening measures can be found on the Everyone Active website.

Visitors will feel reassured to know that Coral Reef holds the ‘We’re Good to Go’ Industry Standard mark, meaning the centre is fully up to date with Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, has a risk assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

Cllr John Harrison, executive member for culture, delivery and public protection, said: “With Coral Reef Waterworld having the ‘We’re Good to Go’ mark and a range of safety measures in place, visitors can rest assured the Coral Reef team is committed to ensuring the waterpark remains safe.

“I hope families will make the most of this great offer and dive into the Coral Reef experience this month.”
