Concerns over a party taking place during the coronavirus pandemic was investigated by police.

Thames Valley Police said they received a report of a group of people going into property in County Lane, Warfield.

The report was made by a concerned resident who claims he saw a 'large group of males carrying speakers' to a field near a derelict house.

According to the resident, an unlicensed rave was being planned at about 7pm on Wednesday, September 9.

A police spokesman said: "We did receive a report of a group going into a property in County Lane, Warfield, at around 7.50pm on Wednesday.

"Officers completed a thorough area search and there was no trace of any rave or any suspicious activity."

The resident claims the police arrived three hours after the report was made.
