"We can’t believe that he is home. Thank you everyone for your help, support and all of the sharing.

"There is an ongoing police investigation, but needless to say, we will not rest until the scum that took him are brought to justice.

"We would love to raise some funds for Doglost, who have been incredible from the moment that Wolfie was stolen.

"Please donate if you can, every penny helps."

Bracknell News:

Police had listed Wolfie as stolen on Saturday, August 22.

At the time, Louise said her dad was "in pieces" and pleaded for information.

Luckily, a happy reunion took place yesterday.

Mervyn, Wolfie's owner, released a heartwarming video yesterday featuring Woflie, who appears safe and well.

He said: "Thanks ever so much to everybody on Facebook for trying to get my dog back and look, I've got him back today!

"I'm over the moon, me and my son are thrilled to bits and my daughter, granddaughter - we are all happy we got him back, thanks ever so much.

"But don't stop helping other people getting their dogs back, I got mine back and there are hundreds out there that need your help to get them back so pease carry on helping on Facebook. Pass it on and challenge people if you think it's someone else's dog - don't leave it, phone the police and tell them if you think someone's stolen a dog."

Wolfie the dog smiled happily for the camera as he was being stroked by his owner.
