A mini-earthquake struck parts of southern England and Berkshire today, with with hundreds of residents reporting they had felt buildings shaking and ground tremors.
The quake - recorded by the British Geological Survey as being of 3.6 magnitude - struck at 9.45am with Aylesbury being the epicentre, approximately 50 KM from Bracknell and 55KM from Reading.

The tremor wouldn't have been significant in Reading, but could still have been felt in parts.
Hundreds of residents said they felt and saw the tremor, with some people reporting that their houses and cars shook.

It was originally thought that the epicentre was in Slough, but throughout the day data has revealed it was further north.
