THE following cases appeared at Reading and Slough Magistrates' Court:

July 31:

STEVEN NORTON. 34, of Merryhill Road, Bracknell, admitted theft from a shop in Bracknell on April 15. Stole meat items worth £68.40 from Marks and Spencers Bracknell. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody in High Wycombe Magistrates Court on July 30. Also admitted theft from a shop in Bracknell on July 27. Stole beauty products worth £118.95 from Lloyds Pharmacy, Bracknell. Committed to prison for a total of 14 weeks, due to flagrant disregard for court orders.

MICHAEL JONES, 20, of Part Lane, Riseley, Wokingham, admitted using threatening or abusive words/behaviour likely to cause a person harassment, alarm or distress in Woodley on February 6. Discharged conditionallu for 18 months. Also ordered to pay £22 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Collection order made.
