An investigation is underway after a child fell out of a flat in Bracknell on Sunday.

At about 12.30pm on Sunday, August 30, police were called to a block of flats in London Road.

Police said a child had fallen out of window from a second floor flat.

The young boy has serious injuries.

He was rushed to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and he is still being treated by medical professionals.

A spokesman said: "The child was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with serious, but not life-threatening injuries, where he remains at this time.

"An investigation into the circumstances that led to the child falling is under way and continuing."

Officers are carrying out an investigation the area has been blocked off with police tape.

One person who lived nearby to the incident saw a commotion happening on the street next to Hayley House, London Road.

She said she saw police and ambulance crews on the scene.

Nicole Hoskins said: "Police and ambulance rapid response car at scene with it sealed off with tape. The main entrance was blocked off."
