The Warfield resident was strolling up to the car park in Cabbage Hill when she claimed to have seen five people get out of a van.

In the back of the van there were cages and she believes the group were 'dog snatchers'.

She said: "I do believe they were dog snatchers and definitely made me feel very uncomfortable.

"The people dispersed into all directions and sat on benches in the fields, I circled my usual route and by the time I approached the last field a woman in her 20’s. When she see me kept looking behind her into the woods and then picked her phone up and started texting and looking at me.

"I felt a little unsure but then I see a person in the woods, a branch broke and someone whistled, my dog paused and he barked which he doesn’t normally do so I immediately placed him on the lead and got home.
