POLICE have spoken out to address concerns of a male 'acting suspiciously' in Swinley Forest.

The force put a statement online after 'receiving a number of reports' relating to the concerns in both the Forest and Savernake Park areas of Bracknell.

It added that the concerns were also being widely reported across social media when it happened on Friday.

The statement said that police tracked down the man involved  and after a 'full debrief' it was found that no offences had been committed.

The incidents are instead being treated as a safeguarding referral for the male involved.

Police officers added: "We are satisfied that on the current information that he does not pose any risk to the public and he has been given advice about his behaviour.

"Please do continue to report any suspicious activity through the appropriate channels when you witness it.
