MORE than 30 new homes are to be built in Wokingham, it was announced recently.

The group building and developing the homes successfully acquired the land for the site, and outline planning permission has been granted for 38 homes to be built in Mulberrry Business Park, Fishponds Road, Wokingham.

The development is expected to have an approximate start date of spring 2021, with the homes completed the following year.

James Pennington, director of development at Radian Group, the company managing the construction, said: "Securing land-led schemes is an important part of our strategy and with this development we’re helping to regenerate previously derelict land by utilising a brownfield site.

"Using our in house team for the build enables us to ensure the quality of the homes for customers and shows our commitment to making ‘build, build, build’ a reality.
