The 15-year-old sung her heart out in a live blind performance on Saturday, July 11.

Connie said: “When Danny and Pixie turned I felt in total shock but so excited.

"I chose Danny as he gave the best pitch and we both wanted to try something completely new as I’ve never worked with a rock star before and he’s never worked with a musical theatre singer before.”

In the show, Dani Harmer, her two twin sisters and her family are seen standing behind the stage to show their support for her.

She was picked by lead guitarist for McFly Danny Jones, where she will perform again on TV in the coming weeks.

Connie also managed to impress Pixie Lott too but chose Danny to be her singing mentor throughout the competition.

Her younger sisters Nancy and Betsy, aged 10, also tried to turn the judges heads but unfortunately, they weren't chosen.
