A LOCAL organisation has raised thousands of pounds for a local charity by hosting an online quiz, aiming to help those in need during lockdown, as well as entertaining residents.
Wokingham Lions Club have been providing an online pub quiz for residents, and have managed to raise more than £3,500 in donations to got to the Wokingham Community Hub, supporting locals during the pandemic, as well as giving those still largely in lockdown something to do.

The quiz is free to enter, and more than 250 teams play each week, according to the Lions Club.
A spokesman for the Wokingham Lions Club said: “Brought to you by Wokingham Lions Club, you can challenge your Family, Friends and Neighbours to see who comes out on top - or link up with them to form an unbeatable team.”
