FOLLOWING the new relaxed lockdown rules with people being able to exercise more, the issue of wearing face masks has cropped up.

All taxi and private hire cars are to wear face masks and searches on Google have increased on 'how to make a face mask at home'.

The government's 50 page document says that face coverings are recommended to be worn in public settings but it has not been made compulsory.

So we asked our readers whether they think they should be as more people will be outside due to less restrictions on exercise.

Our Facebook poll online asked Bracknell readers: "Should face coverings/masks be made compulsory to wear in public settings like supermarkets, shops, public transport?"

A total of 99 people voted in the poll with more than half saying they would happily wear a face mask.
