IT'S hard to imagine sitting in a beer garden and sipping on a refreshing drink when we're under lockdown but a person can only dream right?

As we head into the warmer months, we would normally be planning our next social gathering with our friends but under strict government guidelines, we must be social distancing and staying inside to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Instead, we thought we'd take a look at the best beer gardens to visit in Bracknell Forest and showcase just how wonderful they are.

1. Peacock Farm, Jennett's Park

Bracknell News:

Situated just off the A329(M) coming into Bracknell on the Jennetts Park estate, the Peacock Farm has a large and relaxing outdoor drink and dining area.

It's like a sun trap, with a massive outdoor seating area and perfect location to meet up with your loved ones.

One person said: "I come to this pub at least once a month to see friends or family. Staff are always helpful and the food is great for the price! Lots of outdoor seating while kids can play in the park."

2. Stag and Hounds, Binfield

Yes, this picture may make you a little sad but this pub is renowned for its fourteenth century charm and is steeped in history.

It has a large outdoor garden area with plenty of seating but it does get busy when the sun is shining.

One review on Tripadvisor said: "There is also an outdoor area which in the summer is a delight. The selection of beer is good and the menu is a really extensive menu."

3.Cricketers, Warfield

This 'dog friendly pub' underwent a massive refurbishment and boasts a modern outdoor garden area.

The pub also has an extensive list of food choices but can come across a little pricey. Despite this, a reviewer said: "We had such a great afternoon - there is a small outdoor playground with chicken and goats that my children loved."

This child-friendly pub is really worth a visit if you're meeting up with the family. It has a brilliant outdoor play area to keep the kids entertained while the adults can enjoy a quiet drink on the tables.

One person said: "It is a lovely pub and the owner was really nice! The place had a kids area to play in and a trampoline.It had outdoor seating and a peaceful place in the countryside."

This quant little village pub is located just outside of Bracknell. It's a hidden gem and boasts a beautiful beer garden perfect for basking in the sunshine.

One reviewer said: "Lovely friendly pub, nice to go to a proper English pub with traditional pub food, outdoor seating in garden area immaculate"
