A STUDENT at a primary school in Sandhurst is being tested for the coronavirus.

The school remains open today (Friday, March 13) despite coronavirus fears in the school.

Parents will be sent a text message with an update on Sunday to let them know about the schools procedure for the following week.

It comes after the Bracknell News received a number of calls from concerned parents to say a child has a suspected confirmed case of the 'killer' virus.

Earlier on Friday, Sandhurst School revealed a family went into self-isolation after they had come into contact with a student from another school who is being tested for the coronavirus.

It is not clear if the action Sandhurst School has taken is in connection to the pupil at Owlsmoor Primary School, which is also in Sandhurst.
