Plans for Gymfinity in Bracknell (20/00004/FUL)

The popular kids and play-space is set to open in June after council bosses approved final designs for the activity centre.

The News reported plans to bring the ever-popular Gymfinity to Bracknell in late 2018.

These were initial proposals which were quickly approved.

Bracknell News:

New, detailed designs for the play space, which is set to open in the former Riley’s Snooker Hall in Princess Square, were unveiled in January.

The drawings revealed more than 650 square metres is planned for the main gym floor area — space which is expected to be filled with several play facilities for children.

Bracknell News:

A parent viewing area is planned just beyond the entrance, and designs show mums and dads can grab a bite to eat or a drink at the Express Cafe by the reception area.

These plans have now been approved by BFC.

Gymfinity’s Bracknell location is opening in June, according to their website.

Bracknell News:

The page promises “a wide variety of structured children’s gymnastics classes coming soon to a club near you!”

According to the site, this could include:

  • Multi-level gymnastics
  • Ninja Knights classes, which includes martial arts learning
  • Holiday camps
  • Freestyle movement sessions

The Church Of St Michael and All Angels on Church Lane, Warfield, will be allowed to add a shipping container at its site.

The approval from BFC comes despite Warfield Parish Council objecting to the proposal because the location of the container is visible from the surrounding areas and is in the green belt.
