A spokesman said: "Our engineers visited the Three Mile Cross area on Monday to continue their investigation.
"Our team found the flooding was caused by a sewer pipe on a developer site near the area, which our existing customers' sewage pipes are connected to.
"We're working closely with the developers to help prevent and minimise the impact of flooding in the future.

"A clean-up team visited the site on Tuesday to disinfect the flooded areas, work that only can only be done once the water has fully drained away.
"They were able to clean one of the affected properties and they will visit the others at a later date to continue the clean-up."
