FORMER Bracknell Forest Council councillor Trevor Kensall has died at the age of 68.

A lifelong local resident, Trevor represented the Harmans Water ward from 2007 until 2015 on both the borough council and Bracknell Town Council (BTC).

Bracknell News:

Fellow ward councillor and leader of BTC, Cllr Chris Turrell, said: “Trevor was a loyal, hard-working and popular councillor.

“He had a real gift for getting on with people and taking an active interest in their concerns.

“He was probably best known to many residents in and around Bracknell through his thirty-plus years at Bentalls."

Trevor was chairman of the Harmans Water, Martins Heron & The Warren Neighbourhood Action Group from 2006 to 2013.

He also sat on a number of Bracknell Forest Council committees during his time at the authority, including planning, employment and both the children’s and health overview and scrutiny panels.
