The following cases were heard at Reading and Slough Magistrates’ Court:

January 2:

CHRISTOPHER BYRNE, 29, of Hartley Court Road, Three Mile Cross in Wokingham, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause alarm or distress in Reading on August 31, 2019. Fined £350 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £35. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs. Also made subject to a football banning order for three years.

AARON SHERWOOD, 25, of Quadrant Court, Bracknell, admitted breaching a non-molestation order in Maidenhead on November 16, 2019. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

January 3:

CANDIDO RODRIGUES, 46, of Exchange Road, Sunninghill, admitted supplying restaurant services in contravention of a condition requiring you to give a security for the payment of any Value Added Tax which was or may have become due for you. Fined £750, ordered to pay £75 victim surcharge and £220 court costs.

HELEN SCHOFIELD, 54, of Calfridus Way, Bracknell, admitted stealing clothing worth £336.84 from Marks and Spencer in Bracknell on December 9, 2019. Also admitted stealing cosmetics worth £175 from Boots in Bracknell on December 9, 2019. Given a conditional discharge for 18 months. Also ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

January 6:

MATTHEW RAVEY, 40, of Rookwood Avenue, Sandhurst, admitted drink-driving on Cambridge Road, Sandhurst, on December 13, 2019. Was found to have 61mcg alcohol in 100ml breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35mcg. Fined £326 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Must also pay £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 17 months.

January 7:

ALEX KENNEDY, 49, of Copper Beech Place, Wokingham, admitted drink-driving on Reading Road on July 23, 2019. Found to have 81mcg alcohol in 100ml breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35mcg. Given a community order including 21 day curfew with electric monitoring. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 36 months.

LEWIS DUNCAN, 19, of Neuman Crescent, Bracknell, admitted racially or religiously aggravated harassment or distress by words or behaviour in Bracknell on August 3, 2019. Also admitted common assault of a police constable in Bracknell on August 3, 2019. Also admitted assault by beating a police sergeant in Bracknell on August 3, 2019. Given a community order to comply with 140 hours unpaid work. Fined £300 and ordered to pay £100. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge.

January 8:

JAMIE DRABLOW, 19, of Wiltshire Road, Wokingham, admitted handling a stolen car in Rainbow Park on April 18, 2018. Also admitted theft by finding in connection to stealing lead worth £966.37 in Shinfield, Wokingham, on April 16, 2018. Also convicted of a further offence of theft by finding on the same day in Shinfield after stealing lead to a value unknown. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and must undertake 200 hours of unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge and £185 court costs.

ALEXIS MOUTREY, 37, of Warren Row Road, Reading, admitted drink-driving on London Road, Bracknell, on August 1, 2019. Found to have 187mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood, the legal limit being 80mg. Fined £573 and ordered to pay £57 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 20 months.

PAUL CONNOLLY, 55, of Ashridge Road, Wokingham, admitted stealing several bottles of vodka worth £128 from Tesco in Wokingham. Given a conditional discharge for 18 months. Also ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

KEITH SEWELL, 65, of Colleton Drive, Twyford, Wokingham, admitted drink-diving on Old Bath Road, Charvil, on December 15, 2019. Found to have 104mcg alcohol per 100ml breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35mcg. Given a community order including 80 hours unpaid work and a rehabilitation activity requirement. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and disqualified from driving for 25 months.

January 9:

KAYLEIGH MARTIN, 27, of Liscombe, Bracknell, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Friar Street, Reading, on December 20, 2019. Also admitted assault by beating of a police officer in Reading on December 20, 2019. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £100 compensation.
