A FORMER blacksmith celebrated his 100th birthday after receiving a special telegram from the Queen.
Doug Mustill from Crowthorne made a birthday wish with his friends and family at Crowthorne Old Age to Teen Society (COATS) on Monday, February 10.

The day centre hosted a special celebration for Mr Mustill, after he started coming six years ago with his late wife Joan.
In keeping with the theme, Doug wore a birthday hat as everyone sang happy birthday to him.

He also received a special card from Her Majesty the Queen, a cake and cards from residents at the day centre.
COATS welcome all local seniors from 65 to 100 and beyond at their newly refurbished centre in Crowthorne.
