Early designs for 131 homes in Ascot (planning reference: 20/00062/OBS)

This application is only the first part of a proposal to build 131 homes at the recycling centre at St Georges Lane in Ascot.

Bracknell News:

This means only designs for access to the site are being considered as part of this submitted plan.

Few details have been outlined so far as this application relates to a plan put forward as part of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead's local plan in 2018.

Should the plans advance, the site could be redeveloped following the demolition of existing buildings.

Four new homes with ten garages in Crowthorne (20/00066/FUL)

Developers want to knock down 18 dilapidated garages to make way for these new buildings at mansion site in Crowthorne.

Four three-bed mews-style houses and ten garages could go up at Sandhurst Lodge on Wokingham Road if the plans do go ahead.

Bracknell News:

Applicants had permission granted for a similar scheme in 2016, but this is due to expire so fresh plans have now been submitted.

Tree works at a site in Binfield (20/00015/TRTPO)

Hazelwood Estate is hoping to cut down two trees and prune six more on land next to St George Murrell Hill Lane in Binfield.

Bracknell News:

Applicants say this area of land is bowl-shaped and has become saturated, creating a wetland which is causing rot to the trees.

A number of trees have already died in this area, according to a report.

New access to Winkfield Lane (20/00065/FUL)

This one pretty much does what it says on the tin — residents want a new access point from Winkfield Lane to a property by the road.

Bracknell News:

Planning permission was recently granted for the building a new home on land adjoining an existing property.

A report claims “it would be preferable” each property has its own access point.

Hedges and trees would have to be removed to create this access.

A new shipping container at a church in Warfield (20/00052/FUL)

The Church Of St Michael and All Angels on Church Lane, Warfield, wants to add a shipping container at its site.

Bracknell News:

Few details exist but the unit could be placed at land north of the church car park if this plan gets approval.

Like with all applications, this proposal is pending consideration.
