The members were treated to a meal, drinks and entertainment and their newly refurbished day centre.

Chairman of the trustees, John Barnes thanked the volunteers for their hard work in running the COATS shop, driving the minibus and working in the kitchens over the last 12 months.

The charity is looking for more volunteers to help and is happy to welcome new visitors to the centre.

Elderly residents are able to make new friends at COATS and enjoy hearty lunches and fun activities.
