DEDICATED volunteers enjoyed an evening of entertainment for their hard work in helping a very worthy cause.
Crowthorne Old Age to Teen Society COATS held a party to thank 80 volunteers who work for the charity.
The members were treated to a meal, drinks and entertainment and their newly refurbished day centre.
Chairman of the trustees, John Barnes thanked the volunteers for their hard work in running the COATS shop, driving the minibus and working in the kitchens over the last 12 months.
The charity is looking for more volunteers to help and is happy to welcome new visitors to the centre.
Elderly residents are able to make new friends at COATS and enjoy hearty lunches and fun activities.
As well as this, the 50-year-old charity was awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2014, recognising the value of its volunteers.
