DRIVERS heading towards London today we fast with long delays this morning on the M4.
An earlier crash close to Slough had blocked the carriageway causing tail backs for several miles.
Traffic reports were showing severe delays and queues back to Wokingham throughout the morning.
Please note there are 40 minute delays on the approach to this #M4 incident (above usual journey times) spanning 7 miles back to J8. Average speeds on the approach to J6 are 9 mph #SloughCentral #SloughEast @tvprp

Highways England also reported a crash on the eastbound carriageway between J13 and J12 and lane 3 is closed. Drivers were warned to expect delays in this area too.
All lanes have now been reopened and traffic has returned to normal.
