HEAVY rainfall from Storm Brendan is expected to bring floods in Bracknell and Wokingham today.
Houses are not expected to be flooded but the river levels have risen on the Lower River Loddon as a result of the rainfall.
Residents also experienced strong winds last night with some people waking up to debris in their gardens, as a result.
Paul Havers from Sandhurst said: "Interesting night, had to remove covers from some garden furniture otherwise god knows where they would have ended up and unfortunately lost one palm tree as it snapped in half.
"Everything else seems to have survived and according to the forecast, the worst of the wind is over."
Flooding to farmland and roads is expected today (January 15) and the Environment Agency expects river levels to continue to rise.
The flooding is expected to affect farmland near Billingbear Golf Course.
Environment Agency has assured there will be incident response staff in the area clearing weed and trash screens.
They said: "Please remain safe and aware of your local surroundings and avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses."
