DRIVERS will have to find alternative routes this weekend as the M4 will be closed in both directions.

The M4 motorway will be shut from junctions 6 in Slough to Junction 8/9 Maidenhead from January 17 to 20.

It will be closed in both directions from 8pm until 6am on Monday morning.

Highways England are closing off the section so they can demolish the old Huntercombe Spur bridge.

There will be signed diversion routes and the A322 and A329M in Bracknell is likely to be heavier due to the closure.
